It’s a SPA day at “The Studio”
Who doesn’t like to be pampered? Spend the day with us and feel like a movie star. Your luxury portrait experience begins well before the first photograph is ever taken and includes a pre-session consultation to plan your dream photography session, hair and makeup on the day of, expert posing and direction during, and a private portrait reveal appointment for you and your friends and loved ones. At Scott Gibson Studios, we strive to bring a luxury SPA experience into the studio.
Pre-session Consultation
Your portrait experience begins with a pre-session consultation where we will discuss the kinds of images you would like to create. We will go through the style guide and begin planning your wardrobe. We will talk about your likes and dislikes. We will discuss music, refreshments and so much more! This is also a time for us to connect and get to know one another before your session day.
Portrait Session!
The day of your portrait session has finally arrived! We are excited to have you at the Studio and will spend the entire day devoted to making you feel like a movie star. On the day of your portrait session, please arrive with a clean, moisturized face (sans makeup), your wardrobe items and any accessories you would like to wear. Please note, hair and makeup are included as part of our service to you, but it is not a requirement. If you would like to do your own hair and makeup or you would like to have someone else do it, that is fine. All we ask is that you let us know ahead of time. Your portrait session will take approximately three to four hours during which time we will go through three, four or even five wardrobe changes. There will be music, refreshments and lots of laughs. We also invite you to bring a friend with you. We want this to be a completely enjoyable experience. And things are always more fun with friends!
Your Private Reveal Appointment
Approximately two weeks after your portrait session you will return to the Studio to see your finished portraits. This is always an exciting time! At this appointment you will review your photographs and make your selections. What you purchase is entirely up to you. There is no minimum and your session deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the items you choose. Payment for your selections is due at this time. Once you have made your selections you will receive a USB drive to take home with you that day. The USB will include two file sizes of your images – a full-size image suitable for printing and a web-size for web and social media use. The printed images will take approximately seven to ten days to produce.
